Mt Hood - (100g Pellet Hop)
Mt Hood is an American hop variety which displays similar characteristics to European Noble Hops. This Hop variety has a striking similarity to Hersbrucker and Hallerauer Mittelfruh but with a higher alpha acid content.
Mt Hood is best used late in the boil or as a dry hop. You can expect aromas of European noble spice, floral aroma and herbs. This makes it a very popular hop variety for American style ales, lagers and wheat beers.
