This rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This rug features a curvilinear floral motif in rich reds with soft brown branches and lively green leaves on an inky blue ground. It is framed by a perfectly reconciled border with a variety of wonderful blues on a soft pink ground. The composition has been finely executed with silky "manchester" also known as merino wool.
